General Membership Calls

Our quarterly General Membership calls have been an important and dynamic part of our Genomics Forum since its inception.   They provide time and space for new, old, and curious members to learn about the work of our committees -Program, Policy, and Membership and Communications- to ask questions, and to provide input critical to making the Genomics Forum valuable to each of our members.

This call focused on outreach to our members, specifically in leading our new workgroups and getting more involved in standing committee as there are many opportunities! The Program committee discussed the upcoming Business Meeting. The Policy committee announced it had resubmitted the policy brief to APHA for review. The Membership & Communications committee announced many new projects, including FaceBook, Twitter, and Student and International outreach.
